Abstract Dynamical systems, having the space-time-varying behavior, takes place in range of processes. Especially interesting are those which affect structure and properties complex materials during its formation because thermal communication between different parts system. One most important features study is temperature behavior contact area under sliding interaction. This results from large contribution heat capacity to entropy. We investigate influence Joule-Thomson effect on characteristics formed by debris lubricant surfaces when they brought into with one another commutator-and-brush assembly as an example. The model reflecting change third body material properties, geometry surrounding environment proposed. result shows strong correlations mechanical fluctuations wear particles that responsible for size area.
